Police Pursuit of Car on I-255

Police officers pursued a dark grey Dodge Charger on northbound I-255 as of 4:40 p.m., Tuesday, after reports phoned into police indicated the occupants may have had an AR-15-type rifle with them.

“We were not involved (in the chase),” said Columbia Police Chief Joe Edwards. “They got through Columbia before we could assist. It was St. Louis County police units.”
