Area police agencies were put on alert about 4:15 p.m. Wednesday for a white 2004 Ford Explorer with two children inside driven by a male who was possibly in possession of firearms. The vehicle was last seen traveling west from Freeburg on Douglas Road. No other information was immediately available.
