Columbia Police
July 31
Leon J. Reitz, 52, of St. Louis, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant on Route 3 at Wedgewood Drive.
Aug. 2
Marquise Q. Golliday, 29, of Belleville, was arrested on three St. Clair County warrants and for driving while suspended, speeding, suspended registration and no insurance.
Chad T. Kelly, 34, of Collinsville, was arrested for felony theft for allegedly depriving Burger King, 360 Columbia Centre, of $2,000.50 between July 3 and Aug. 1.
Aug. 6
The Columbia fire and police departments were paged shortly before 6:30 p.m. after a vehicle struck a building near the Moto Mart gas station in the 200 block of Southwoods Drive. According to a gas station employee, a black Ford F-150 was in the Moto Mart parking lot when his truck started rolling, eventually going down an incline and striking the awning of the Hoya Optical Lab at 301 Vision Drive. There was minor damage to the truck and the driver did not require medical treatment on scene.
Millstadt Police
July 27
At 3 a.m., Donovan J. Little, 31, of Florissant, Mo., was arrested on a St. Clair County traffic warrant and was also charged with unlawful possession of cannabis (driver) and improper turn signal at East Washington Street and Kossuth Street.
Aug. 2
At 7:52 a.m., police were called to a report of a suspicious person walking on Douglas Road. The responding officer located the subject at Douglas Road and Mueller Lane. A routine investigation revealed the subject had an active St. Clair County warrant for trespassing. Upon further investigation, the subject was found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine. The subject, Keaun M. Lewis-Bean, 21, was taken into custody and later charged with meth possession.
Aug. 5
Jennifer S. Coker, 34, of Belleville, was charged with DUI (combination of alcohol/drugs) following a three-vehicle crash that occurred shortly before 11 p.m. June 18 in the parking lot of Ott’s Tavern on East Washington Street.
Monroe County Sheriff
July 30
Adam P. Gunther, 35, of Waterloo, was arrested on a Monroe County conditions of release violation warrant (dangerous drugs) on Route 3 at Warren Drive in Waterloo.
July 31
Kenneth P. Jones, 49, of Prairie du Rocher, was arrested on Monroe County warrants (meth possession, possession of a controlled substance) and a St. Clair County warrant (possession of a controlled substance) on Route 3 at South Market Street in Waterloo.
Rachel E. Pisarski, 34, of Belleville, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant (possession of meth with intent to deliver) on Route 3 at Gilmore Lake Road in Columbia.
William H. Hapgood II, 49, of Perryville, Mo., was charged with possession of methamphetamine.
Vivian C. Smith, 46, of Perryville, Mo., was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance (fentanyl) and possession of meth with intent to deliver.
Aug. 1
Kenneth J. Littrell, 36, of Waterloo, was arrested on a St. Louis County warrant in the 6100 block of Prairie du Long Creek Drive.
Lauren M. McManemy, 36, of Waterloo, was arrested shortly after 9 p.m. for DUI on Route 3 at North Moore Street in Waterloo.
Aug. 2
Canon C. Hartmann, 19, of Red Bud, was arrested shortly before 3 a.m. for DUI on Steffen Road at Bluff Road.
Aug. 3
Catrina L. Dell, 44, of Waterloo, was arrested for domestic battery in the 5800 block of Maeystown Road.
Aug. 4
Samantha A. Romero, 34, of Red Bud, was arrested on a Monroe County warrant and for driving while license suspended on Route 3 at South Market Street in Waterloo.
St. Clair County Sheriff
Aug. 4
The Illinois State Police assisted the Smithton Fire Department, St. Clair County Sheriff’s Department and EMS personnel in responding about 2 a.m. to a single-vehicle injury crash in the area of Floraville Road and Route 159 between Smithton and Hecker. Two people were injured in the crash, which remains under investigation.
Aug. 5
The Columbia Fire Department responded along with St. Clair County Sheriff’s Department shortly before 4:15 p.m. to an active truck fire on IMBS Station Road near Nevois Lane just north of Columbia.
Waterloo Police
Aug. 1
Takailyn Thomas, 23, and Debrea L. Harris, 21, no address listed, were both charged with retail theft from Walmart, 961 N. Market Street.
Aug. 5
Police and a city utility crew assisted the Waterloo Fire Department shortly before 5 p.m. for a call of a gas line struck by a construction crew near the intersection of Paul Drive and Northern Circle. A few homes on Northern Circle were evacuated as a precaution, with no injuries reported in the incident.
