Columbia Police
Aug. 4
Jarrod D. Dillon, 34, of Caseyville, was arrested for DUI on Route 3 at Mark Drive. Dillon was also cited for improper lane usage.

Millstadt Police
Aug. 6
At 9:35 p.m., police received an Illinois State Police broadcast of a reckless driver traveling toward Millstadt on Route 158 from Triple Lakes Road. The officer located the vehicle and stopped it in the 400 block of South Illinois Street after the vehicle had swerved into the oncoming lane of traffic. The driver, Alexus C. Relford, 31, of Fairview Heights, was arrested for DUI, improper lane usage, no valid registration and no taillights.

Monroe County Sheriff
Aug. 5
Dylan M. Povolish, 25, of Okawville, was charged with felony battery for allegedly spitting food at and shoving the face of a female which he knew to be pregnant during an incident in the 100 block of East Back Street in Hecker.
Aug. 7
Kurt E. Connor, 67, of Waterloo, was arrested for DUI on Route 3 at HH Road at 9:55 p.m.
Aug. 8
Evan S. Thomas, 44, of Waterloo, was charged with possession of methamphetamine.
Aug. 9
Alejandro Galan-Zumaya, 47, of Fairmont City, was arrested for no valid driver’s license and an administrative warrant of removal from the U.S. for an immigration violation.
Aug. 13
The Waterloo Fire Department assisted deputies in responding at 11:15 a.m. to a single-vehicle crash at 954 Gall Road. No injuries were reported in the crash, which resulted in a power pole being snapped in half. Monroe County Electric Cooperative was requested to the crash scene.

Waterloo Police
Aug. 3
A 14-year-old male from Luebbering, Mo., was cited for littering from a vehicle at about 6:30 p.m. on South Market Street at East Fourth Street.
Aug. 9
Zeljko Petrovic, 50, of Red Bud, was arrested shortly after 9:45 p.m. for DUI, speeding and improper registration plate display on Route 3 at Columbia Avenue.
