Columbia Police

May 28
Kenneth L. Greene, 24, of Chester, was arrested on an in-state warrant at 100 Admiral Weinel Boulevard.

May 29
Eric M. Dale, 25, of High Ridge, Mo., was arrested for DUI, driving on the shoulder and improper lane usage at 300 Columbia Centre.

Denise Range, 26, of Dupo, was arrested on a Randolph County warrant on Veterans Parkway at Columbia Centre.

Gregory B. Coffman, 42, of Columbia, was arrested in Dupo following a theft that had occurred just hours before at Market Place. Among the items Coffman is alleged to have taken from the store include an 18- pack of beer, flowers, a bag of chips and barbecue sauce.

June 1
Carrie A. Riddle, 35, of Columbia, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant at 605 South Main Street.

Rikki L. Taylor, 23, of Festus, Mo., was arrested for driving while suspended and illegal transportation of alcohol at Moto Mart.

June 2
Reno W. Pelc of St. Louis was arrested on a Missouri warrant and for driving while suspended, possession of cannabis and speeding on Route 3 northbound at Carl Street.

Robert B. Gerwel, 21, of St. Louis, was arrested for felony possession of meth precursors, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of cannabis and no insurance on I-255 westbound at milepost 5.8.

Conservation Police

May 29
Jason R. Kern of Creve Coeur, Mo., Chad McCain of Barnhart, Mo., Ralph C. Sawyer of Metamora and Todd P. McCartney of Bloomington were all cited for criminal trespass to state supported land for a Dec. 3, 2011, incident at Fogelpole Cave Nature Preserve.

Illinois State Police

May 24
Matthew H. Etling, 28, of Columbia, was transported to an area hospital for injuries sustained when his 2006 Ford Explorer swerved off the roadway southbound on I-255 near mile-post 8 around 2:20 a.m., drove down an embankment and over-turned. Etling was wearing his seat belt. He was arrested for DUI, no insurance, driving while suspended, improper lane usage and failure to reduce speed.

Monroe County Sheriff

May 26
Brian W. Offerman, 34, of rural Waterloo, was cited for violating the open burning ordinance in the area of Martini Road, after he was found to be burning mattresses, box springs, chairs and other items.

June 1
The possible report of an ATV stolen from 4555 G Road is under investigation.

St. Clair County Sheriff

May 30
Columbia and Dupo firefighters responded to a shed fire at 7448 Harvel Hill Lane in East Carondelet around 9:30 p.m. The detached shed was fully involved upon arrival and eventually burned to the ground. All of its contents, including lawn mowers, bicycles and lawn equipment, were destroyed.

Valmeyer Police

June 2
Gary Evans, 37, of St. Louis, was transported to St. Anthony’s Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries sustained when his motorcycle crashed on Bluff Road in Old Valmeyer around 2 p.m.

Waterloo Police

May 30
Kayla Amann, 22, of Red Bud, was issued a city ordinance violation for conduct in public places at Denny’s.

May 31
Mariann Mitchell, 28, of Dupo, was arrested for retail theft at Walmart. The incident occurred on April 16.

June 1
Billy E. Bush, 40, of Waterloo, was arrested for DUI, no insurance and improper lane usage on Route 3 at HH Road.

Matthew S. Johnson, 39, of Waterloo, was arrested for battery in the 1100 block of Maplewood Lane.

Police and EMS responded to the report of a suspected non-fatal heroin overdose around 1:30 p.m. No other details were available.

June 3
Richard Melching Jr. of Prairie du Rocher was arrested for retail theft at Walmart. The incident occurred on May 19.
