Columbia Police

June 20

Emergency personnel responded about 4:45 p.m. to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Ghent and Palmer roads near the ramp to Route 3/I-255 in Columbia. Police said two people were transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis County.

Dupo Police

June 18

A stabbing that is believed to have occurred about 5 p.m. in the 400 block of North Main Street is under investigation. Following a 911 call, police observed a male victim with a stab wound in the 100 block of North 2nd Street. He said “two Black males attacked him” near the laundromat but refused to provide other details. Dupo EMS transported the stabbing victim to Saint Louis University Hospital.

Millstadt Police

June 10

Brad A. Thompson, 46, formerly of Millstadt, was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm without FOID following a March 4 incident on Saxtown Road. 

June 13

At 10:40 a.m., Alanna C. Jacks, 36, of Belleville, was arrested on two St. Clair County traffic warrants and cited for driving while license suspended in the 300 block of East Washington Street.

June 14

Shortly before 6:40 p.m., police were called for a vehicle crash on the parking lot of Spike’s Public House, 4 E. Washington Street.  Todd M. Franke, 59, of Columbia, was arrested for DUI.

June 15

Police were called for a solicitor complaint on Morgan Lake Drive. The responding officer made contact with the solicitor and it was determined he did not have a permit.  Eric M. Nelson, 57, of Wildwood, Mo., was cited under local ordinance for unwanted soliciting.

June 17

At 1:35 a.m., Dorian H. Pattumma-Yang, 25, of Belleville, was arrested for DUI (drugs), no valid registration and use of unsafe tires in the first block of West Washington Street.

Monroe County Sheriff

June 16

Adam W. Henslee, 37, of Red Bud, was charged with aggravated DUI (fourth offense).

June 24

Connor J. Moore, 23, of Waterloo, was arrested for criminal damage to property, a hate crime and harassment (threaten to kill). Court documents allege that on April 4, Moore damaged a door on the property of a male victim in the 5600 block of Konarcik Road. The filing further alleges Moore committed acts of intimidation “by the reason of the actual or perceived sexual orientation” of the male victim. Moore is also alleged to have threatened to kill the victim via electronic communication.   

June 20

Camden M. Hurst, 27, of Waterloo, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant on Route 3 at EE Road.

William M Lairmore, 58, of Cahokia Heights, was arrested on a Monroe County warrant for possession of a controlled substance.

June 22

Drew K. Totra, 21, of Waterloo, was arrested on Hanover Road at Bluff Road for DUI, no valid license, leaving the scene, failure to report a crash and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.  

June 23

Deputies assisted the Red Bud and Hecker fire departments in responding to a shed fire in the 3800 block of Doyle Road at 5:15 a.m. The fire started around a tractor and baler and spread to the adjacent shed. Firefighters were on the scene for about 1.5 hours. A cause hasn’t been determined at this time.

Waterloo Police

June 17

Vanessa A. Moll, 44, of Red Bud was charged with felony theft. Court documents allege that between Jan. 4, 2023, and Jan. 19, 2024, Moll exerted unauthorized control of between $10,000 and $100,000 of property from Waterloo Lumber Company, 715 N. Market Street. The amount stolen was believed to be about $40,000.

June 19

Jennifer J. Timpe, 42, of Waterloo, was charged with possession of methamphetamine.

June 22

A possible battery involving two men in the area of St. Paul United Church of Christ, 200 N. Main Street, is under investigation.
