Police Blotter 4/2/14

Columbia Police

March 26 – Lee Everett Nichols, 29, of Cahokia, was charged with felony driving while license revoked (second offense) following a Feb. 24 incident.

March 27 – Regina L. Dillard, 30, of Columbia, was arrested for DUI and expired registration in the 200 block of East Crestview.

March 29 -Elijah D. Gerfen, 18, of Freeburg, Jack A. Kemper, 18, of Belleville, and a 17-year-old were cited for unlawful possession of alcohol and illegal transportation of alcohol on Campbell Lane at Route 158. The 17-year-old was also cited for speeding.

March 30 – Brian O. Sickage, 21, of Dupo, was arrested on a Monroe County warrant and for obstructing a peace officer on Admiral Parkway northbound at Eagle Drive.

March 31 – Diane Hoffman, 45, of Columbia, was charged with violating an order of protection following a March 4 incident.

Illinois State Police

March 28 – Columbia police, fire and EMS assisted ISP with a crash at about 5:45 p.m. on I-255 eastbound on the J.B. Bridge involving a semi and a car. The semi cut over into the lane of a passenger car, resulting in a collision. The car had five total occupants, but only one female was transported to the hospital by ambulance for treatment of minor injuries.

April 1 – No serious injuries were reported following a three-vehicle crash on Route 3 at Old Red Bud Road south of Waterloo around 3:30 p.m. The vehicles involved were a Ford Edge, Chevy Cavalier and Ford F250.

Monroe County Sheriff

March 29 – Joshua Rorie, 22, of Waterloo, was transported by ambulance to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in St. Louis after the 2013 Volkswagon he was driving went off the roadway and overturned shortly after 11 p.m. in the area of 5411 Maeystown Road.

March 30 – Adam Schwarz of St. Louis was arrested for DUI and improper lane usage on Bluff Road south of Harris Lane.

April 1 – Ricky Range, 20, of East Carondelet, was cited for unlawful consumption of alcohol on Route 3.

Waterloo Police

March 11 – Charges are pending against a 53-year-old Bloomsdale, Mo., woman for felony theft and burglary from Walmart after she allegedly stole several items.

March 29 – Amy Clendenin, 37, of St. Louis, was arrested for DUI, illegal transportation of alcohol and failure to signal on East Grand Avenue at North Moore Street.

March 31 – Matthew Rautman, 28, of Columbia, was charged with felony retail theft following a Jan. 25 incident at Walmart in which he allegedly stole an XBox video game console.
