Columbia Police

April 8 – Tiara S. Young, 25, of East St. Louis, was arrested for obstructing identification, no insurance, driving while suspend- ed, and no drivers license on Admiral Parkway northbound at Veterans Parkway.

April 11 – Georgia L. Small, 58, of Waterloo, was arrested for possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding on Admiral Parkway south of Southwoods Drive.

Brandon J. Murdock, 20, of Millstadt, was arrested for possession of cannabis at 77 Veterans Parkway.

Kanisha Ford, 25, of Centreville, was arrested for obstructing identification.

April 13 – Ricky J. Thielemann, 56, of East Carondelet, was cited for disorderly conduct on North Main Street at Veterans Parkway.

April 14 – Genevieve R. Bonnot, 30, of Columbia, was arrested for DUI and driving while revoked in the 700 block of Old State Route 3.

Missouri Highway Patrol

April 11 – Three people were injured in an eight-car crash on west-bound Interstate 255 near Telegraph Road at about 6:40 a.m. Two of the vehicles involved were driven by local residents — a 2003 Lexus driven by Brad Hawkins, 37, of Waterloo, and a 2012 Ford Escape driven by Kari L. Dewees, 48, of Columbia — but neither were injured.

April 13 – A two-vehicle crash occurred at about 10:25 p.m. on I-255 at Lemay Ferry Road. A 2002 Nissan Pathfinder driven by Cherity L. Thomas, 36, of Red Bud, and a 2011 Honda Fit driven by Mary Thomas, 67, of New Athens, lost control on the rain-covered roadway, causing both to collide. Cherity Thomas was transported to St. Anthony’s Medical Center.

Monroe County Sheriff

April 9 – Ashlie Macklin of St. Louis was arrested on a Monroe County warrant.

April 11 – Cory M. Hamilton, 20, of Columbia, refused medical transport after the 2007 Mazda 6 he was driving lost control and went off the roadway at a curve on Valmeyer Road east of Bluff Road, coming to rest in a creek at about 11:30 p.m. He was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

April 12 – A report of criminal damage in the 4500 area of KK Road is under investigation. Windows were broken out of a truck and camper with other damage reported to the house and property.

A report of criminal damage at the Maeystown pumping station, 1638 Levee Road, is under investigation. Three stem covers for the gravity drains, valued at $1,000 each, were broken.

April 14 – Chris J. Collins of East Carondelet was arrested on a Monroe County warrant.

Waterloo Police

April 6 – Five were issued city ordinance violations for public fighting following an altercation that occurred inside Lou & Michelle’s, 405 Front Street: Christopher Monroe, 28; Samuel Mercer, 21; Justin Berg, 26; Crystal Perschbacher, 29; and Bryan Bradley, 30, all of Waterloo.

April 11 – Christopher Hearn, 23, of St. Charles, Mo., was arrested near Huck’s, 884 N. Illinois Route 3, for methamphetamine possession and possession of a hypodermic syringe.

April 13 – Nicholas Devan, 18, of Waterloo, and a juvenile were each arrested for possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia outside Waterloo High School during the school’s after-prom event shortly before 1:30 a.m.

April 14 – Veva Evans, 53, of Bloomsdale, Mo., was charged with felony burglary and retail theft in connection with a March 11 incident at Walmart.
