Columbia Police

Feb. 14

Columbia Police Department officers handled two separate incidents of suspicious subjects at Walgreens within two hours of each other, resulting in eight persons arrested on drug-related charges and warrants. Ten persons were detained in all, but two were released without charges.

The first incident occurred sometime after 9 a.m. Charged with unlawful possession of a methamphetamine precursor were Joshua Watkins, 25, and Kacey N. Cohen, 27, both of Jonesboro, Ark., and Tyrone L. Walker, 33, of Beythville, Ark. Walker was also arrested on an in-state warrant for possession of a controlled substance. Also arrested in this incident was Gage D. Antonio, 25, of East St. Louis, on a St. Clair County warrant.

While officers were working the first case, Walgreens called police again around 11 a.m., regarding a second group of suspicious individuals on their property. Arrested in this incident were Tadd Boyer, 21, and Jacob V. Tichy, 23, both of Imperial, Mo., and Benjamin Ferris, 32, and William J. Bradley III, 33, both of St. Louis, for unlawful possession of methamphetamine precursors.

Monroe County Sheriff

Feb. 15

Chad H. Mueller, 19, of Waterloo, was arrested for battery at 3043 State Route 156.

Feb. 17

Benjamin R. Conway Jr. of Waterloo was arrested on a Monroe County warrant.

Waterloo Police

Feb. 13

An employee at Fast Stop gas station, Amanda M. Mize, 34, of Valmeyer, has been charged with felony theft after having allegedly taken $550 in cash from the business on Feb. 9.

Feb. 14

Craig T. Horns, 20, of St. Louis, was arrested for possession of alcohol by a minor.

Feb. 15

Taylor N. Fleitz, 18, of Waterloo, Katie L. Duncan, 19, of Columbia, and Taylor S. Isaacs, 20, of Waterloo, were cited at JV’s, 117 N. Main Street, for unlawful consumption of alcohol.

Feb. 16

John Follmer, 50, of St. Louis, was arrested for DUI and speeding on Route 3 at Vandebrook Drive.

Donna Olson, 48, of Waterloo, was arrested for DUI, improper lane usage and no insurance on Route 3 at North Market.

Feb. 18

Jackson W. Shellabarger, 18, of Belleville, was charged with felony burglary and possession of cannabis after having allegedly entered a vehicle in the 300 block of East First Street. Also charged with burglary is Michael Van Britson, 20, of Belleville.

Diane Ruessler, 48, of Waterloo, was arrested for domestic battery at 210 W. Fourth Street.
