Columbia Police

Nov. 14
A two-vehicle crash occurred shortly after 4 p.m. at South Main and Admiral Parkway. A white 1997 Mercury driven by Gabriel Suchman, 84, turned northbound onto South Main from Admiral Parkway, striking a 1998 black Dodge Dakota driven by William Clark, 34, which was northbound on Admiral Parkway. Suchman was cited for disobeying a traffic signal. He was transported to St. Anthony’s Medical Center.

Nov. 20
Steven M. Renollet, 53, of Columbia, was arrested for DUI, possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia, speeding and improper lane usage on I-255.

Juanita L. Biffar, 48, of Columbia, was arrested on an out-of-state warrant in the 200 block of Crestview Drive. Also arrested at that location was Lori Ann Kirchner, 46, of Russellville, Mo., on a Monroe County warrant.

Nov. 25
Jason S. Horn, 33, of Pevely, Mo., was arrested for DUI, speeding, and no insurance on I-255.

Christina J. Davis, 26, of Columbia, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, speeding, defective windshield and no valid license.

Illinois State Police

Nov. 21
A two-vehicle crash occurred in foggy conditions around 7 a.m. on Route 159 at Floraville Road. A Chevy van driven eastbound on Floraville by Robert P. Costello, 28, of St. Louis, collided with a Chevy pickup driven by Charlene V. Lippert, 56, of New Athens, which was traveling on Route 159. Lippert was transported to Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Costello was cited for disobeying a stop sign.

Nov. 19
The theft of a chainsaw, leaf blower and gas can from a barn in the area of 5100 J Road is under investigation.

Nov. 21
The theft of an air compressor and construction equipment from 1323 Stumpf Lane is under investigation.

Nov. 22
A go cart for sale with red and black stripes and the words “Indy 500” was taken sometime between 6 and 9 p.m. Nov. 21 from 4909 Bluff Road.

Nov. 23
The theft of a debit card and credit card from a wallet stored in a gym locker at the YMCA is under investigation.

Nov. 26
The theft of a leaf blower and two chainsaws from a shed in the area of 6500 K Road is under investigation.

Nov. 27
Deputies are looking into a reported break-in of a home under renovation on Maeystown Road.

Waterloo Police

Nov. 17
Benjamin Hodges, 18, of Waterloo, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia on Sauthoff Drive.

Nov. 20
Tyler W. Lawrence, 24, of Waterloo, was arrested for unlawful possession of a controlled substance (heroin), possession of a hypodermic syringe, possession of a weapon by a felon, DUI, no insurance and improper lane usage following a traffic stop in the Walmart parking lot.

Nov. 21
Alexandria Grubb-Hoxworth, 19, of Waterloo, was cited for unlawful possession of alcohol on Route 3 at Illinois Avenue.

Nov. 22
Neal Vogt, 23, of Waterloo, was issued city ordinance violations for public intoxication and open alcohol outside Fourth Street Bar, 301 S. Moore Street.

Robert S. Mathews, 30, of Red Bud, was arrested for DUI and speeding on Route 3 at Halifax Drive.

Nov. 23
Dean M. Hermann, 35, of Waterloo, was arrested for DUI and disobeying a traffic signal on Stumpf Lane at Veterans Drive.

Nov. 25
Bobbie G. Shrewsbury, 36, of Waterloo, has been charged with aggravated domestic battery and resisting arrest after allegedly attempting to strangle a female relative at 519 S. Church Street. He remains in county jail on $50,000 bond.
