Columbia Police

Nov. 4
Kapil Mohan, 39, of St. Louis, was arrested on two counts of DUI on I-255 at milepost 6.

Nov. 6
Anthony M. Crowe, 26, of Columbia was arrested on warrants charging him with aggravated assault and aggravated battery stemming from an Oct. 27 incident in the 400 block of South Main Street, during which it is alleged Crowe punched and kicked a victim in the face and held a knife to the victim’s throat.

Nov. 7
Police are looking for a white Dodge Ram pickup with front end damage following a hit-and-run crash that occurred shortly after 11:40 a.m. on Route 3 at Gall Road. The truck struck the rear of a 2013 Hyundai Sonata driven by Michelle Plank, 30, of Waterloo, and after initially stepping to exchange information, the male driver of the truck sped away from the scene traveling south. Police are still looking for the
driver.

Thomas N. Toal, 18, of Waterloo, was arrested for possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia, speeding and driving while license suspended on Admiral Parkway northbound at Southwoods.

Amanda M. Jackson, 35, of Valmeyer, was arrested on a Monroe County warrant on Ghent Road at Woodland Terrace.

Nov. 9
Around 5:45 a.m., an officer on patrol came up on a traffic crash that had just occurred in the area of 625 North Main Street. Zachary Reinbolt, 30, of Columbia, was arrested for DUI and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after apparently falling asleep behind the wheel driving southbound, causing his car to strike a parked GMC Yukon. A female passenger in Reinbolt’s car was taken by Columbia EMS to St. Anthony’s Hospital in St. Louis for medical treatment.

Nov. 10
Columbia police, fire and EMS responded at about 7:10 p.m. to a two-vehicle crash on Gall Road near Webster Drive on the Carr Creek Bridge with unknown injuries. A silver sports car driven by a female was one of the vehicles involved, and also struck a pole. No other information was available.

Oct. 30
William M. Dagner, 47, of Percy, was arrested for DUI.

Monroe County Sheriff

Nov. 3
Trevor J. Hudson, 31, of Red Bud, was arrested for DUI after falling asleep at the wheel around 12:30 a.m. on St. Marcus Cemetery Road between Hecker and Red Bud and leavingthe roadway, striking landscaping and shrubs.

Nov. 6
A burglary in the area of 3700 Weeping Willow Court is under investigation. Several guns were taken from the home along with ammunition. Among the guns stolen were a Smith & Wesson .38 caliber revolver and a Smith & Wesson .357 revolver. The crime is believed to have occurred on Oct. 11.

Nov. 7
John A. Desoto, 41, no address given, was arrested at the Kidd Lake railroad crossing for criminal trespass to railroad property after illegally riding on a train.

Nov. 10
Deputies responded to the area of Route 3 south of Waterloo near the Jehovah’s Witness church following a report of a fight on a school bus involving two 12-year-olds. Waterloo Police

Police were called to the
hockey rink area of the skate
park for a complaint of excessive
noise and foul language.
