Amanda Pittman of Waterloo and Darren Knobloch of Fults have announced their engagement and upcoming marriage.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Lynn and Chuck Pittman of Waterloo.

She is a graduate of Waterloo High School and Murray State University and Maryville University.

She is a nurse at Barnes-Jewish Hospital.

The groom-to-be is the son of JoAnn and Manlee Knobloch of Fults.

He is a graduate of Valmeyer High School and SIUE.

He is a grain bin salesman at Gateway FS.

They are planning a Dec. 20, 2014 wedding.
