The Republic-Times Athlete of the Week is Valmeyer Lakers pitcher Philip Reinhardt. A Valmeyer High School graduate who pitches in the spring for Maryville University, the lefthander is 4-0 for the Lakers this summer with a 0.95 ERA in 22 innings pitched. Reinhardt threw six solid innings in Sunday’s victory over Millstadt.
