The Republic-Times Athlete of the Week is Waterloo High School basketball standout Norah Gum. The senior leads the Bulldogs with averages of 21 points and 10.3 rebounds per game this season. Gum, who recently signed a letter of intent to play hoops at Missouri S&T upon her graduation this spring, is also averaging 2.2 steals and 1.2 blocks per contest.
