New Year’s Day crash on Route 156

Republic-Times- January 3, 2022

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Department and Monroe County EMS responded to Route 156 near Oexner Lane just east of Waterloo about 2 p.m. Jan. 1 for a one-vehicle accident with injury.

A 1997 Ford Ranger left the roadway, stuck a traffic sign and then a tree. The driver, a male in his 20s, was transported to Mercy South Hospital in St. Louis.
