Muriel E. Segafredo | Obituary

Muriel  E.  Segafredo (nee Wottowa), 89, of St. Louis, formerly of Cahokia and Columbia, died June 24, 2015, at St. Anthony’s Medical Center, St. Louis.

She was born Aug. 4, 1925, in Coulterville, daughter of the late William and Sarah Wottowa (nee Gregory).

Mrs. Segafredo was retired from Sverdrup Corp. in St. Louis. Prior to that she was employed by Bussmann Fuse of St. Louis.

She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, Columbia.

Surviving are her children Dennis (Brenda) Segafredo of Zelienople, Pa., Brenda (Frank) Weber of Oakville, Mo., and Chris (Cindy) Segafredo of Columbia, Mo.; brother Kennard (Jeanine) Wottowa of Savannah, Tenn.; six grandchildren, Denise (Heath) Cleek, DeWayne (Naomi) Segafredo, Amanda (Steve) Gasich, Blake (Sheena Martin) Segafredo, Mike (Erika) Weber, and Melinda (Adam) Sirois; and seven great-grandchildren, Jonuathan, Tate, Heather, Destiny, Hailey, Kaitlyn and Maya. She was also a dear aunt, cousin and friend.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leno Segafredo, her parents, brother Wesley Wottowa, and sisters Mildred Brown and Eileen Wottowa.

Visitation and funeral services were June 29-30, at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia.

Graveside services were held at Coulterville Cemetery, Coulterville.

Memorials may be made to Bethany United Methodist Church, Columbia.
