Valmeyer Fire Department first responders assisted Monroe County EMS and the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department at about 1:45 p.m. Saturday with a motorcycle crash on Bluff Road at the curve near 2308 HH Road.

A man was transported by ambulance to Memorial Hospital in Belleville with what a fire official on scene described as non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said the name of the motorcyclist involved in the crash is Erik A. Ohlen, 37, of Swansea.
