The Republic-Times Team of the Week is the Special Olympics of Illinois Monroe County Patriots team, from left, Chelsi Althener, Robby Small, Gabe Magee and Jacob Cullum. Not pictured is teammate Cole Schaefer.

The Patriots competed in the Special Olympics state bocce ball tournament Friday at Illinois State University. Schaefer and Cullum took home silver medals and Magee earned bronze at the tournament. Small and Althener won silver in doubles.
