Heather Ann Mehrtens and Nicholas Dean Wetzler

Heather Ann Mehrtens and Nicholas Dean Wetzler of New Dehli, India, were married April 16, 2016, in Tennessee, Pastor Christopher Watson officiating, surrounded by their immediate families.

The bride is the daughter of  Marcia and Vincent Mehrtens. She is a graduate of Waterloo High School and University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and currently is serving as an English language fellow at Kamla Nehru College, India.

The bridegroom is the son of Ricky Wetzler and Sheila (Larry) Boester. He is a graduate of Waterloo High School and Illinois State University, and currently is an economist doing volunteer work for the U.S. Embassy in India.

The couple hosted a reception for family and friends July 23, 2016, at Willoughby Farms, Collinsville.
