The Republic-Times Athlete of the Week is Dupo softball player Megan Brown. She picked up two more wins on the mound this week (Tuesday against Valmeyer, Wednesday against Wesclin) and helped her own cause at the plate. Brown went 2-for-5 with a home run and four RBIs against Wesclin, and went 2-for-2 with two RBIs against Valmeyer. Brown is currently 15-3 on the season as a pitcher with a 1.71 ERA, and is second on the team in hitting with a .463 average and 20 RBIs.
