The Republic-Times Athlete of the Week is Waterloo High School basketball player Max Oswald. The 6-foot-5 senior has been a solid contributor all season for a 19-win Bulldogs squad. Oswald is averaging 10.2 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.24 assists per game and has dazzled crowds with several slam dunks.
