Mary L. Boyer, 90, of Lincoln, Neb., formerly of Waterloo, died July 13, 2014 in Lincoln, Neb.

She was born Oct. 13, 1923 in Makanda, daughter of the late Harley and Lila Peck, nee Stevenson.

Mary is survived by children Edward R. Boyer, Ellen (Jack) Albaugh, Christopher A. (Mary E.) Boyer; grandchildren Denice (John) Verhoeven, Robert Boyer Jr., Michelle Gausch, Todd Boyer, Arthur (Vicky) Parmely, David (Stephanie) Parmely, John Parmely, Christina (Brian) Copeland, Daniel Boyer, Sean Bianchi, Malissie Boyer, Kimberly Boyer; along with several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Raymond N. Boyer, son Robert L. Boyer and brother Robert Peck.

Visitation will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. July 16 and 10 to 11 a.m. July 17 at Quernheim Funeral Home in Waterloo.

A funeral service will take place 11 a.m. July 17 at the funeral home.

Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Fairview Heights.
