Al and Ellen Marshall of Waterloo will celebrate their 50th anniversary Jan. 15, 2016.

The couple were married Jan. 15, 1966, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, St. Louis.

Al retired from Ecolab and currently works part-time as a golf course marshal at Annbriar, staying close to the sport he loves. He is also involved with their church and Saint Vincent de Paul Society in St. Louis.

Ellen retired from AT&T corporate offices in 2004. She is also involved with their church and Saint Vincent de Paul Society in St. Louis.

The couple are parents to Kristopher and Sally Stephens (nee Marshall), Brent and Jennifer Kaniecki (nee Marshall), and Doug and Carla Marshall (nee Carmichael), all of whom live with their families in Waterloo.

They also have seven grandchildren.
