The Republic-Times Athlete of the Week is Waterloo High School softball player Madilyn Davis. The senior infielder is off to a hot start this spring for the Bulldogs, hitting .529 with a .619 on base percentage, eight RBIs, six runs and four stolen bases in six games. Davis has committed to playing softball at Southwestern Illinois College upon her graduation this spring.
