The Republic-Times Athlete of the Week is Waterloo High School bowler Logan DeFosset. He led the Bulldogs to the Carbondale Regional team championship by virtue of placing first overall on Saturday with a six-game total of 1,342 (223.6 per game average). He carries a 228 per game average and has the team’s high game (299) and high series (808) this season. His 808 series set a new school record.
