Linda Lee Lancaster (nee Colbert), of Oro Valley, Ariz., died in her home Jan. 7, 2023. She was born and raised in Sparta.

Linda was retired from the U.S. National Park Service. She enjoyed playing Mahjongg and crafting Iris folding cards. Linda also enjoyed attending class reunions with her many friends from Sparta High School Class of ‘56.

She is survived by her husband John O. Lancaster; children Randall (Ann) Rudloff, Debbie (Ken) Conquest and Dena (Dave) Yearian; 10 grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents Roy “Buck” and Lorene (nee Sawyer), brother Jay Colbert and sister-in-law Glenda Colbert.

A private family service will be held at a later date at Caledonia Cemetery in Sparta.
