Lillian Ruff

Lillian Ruff (nee Hirsch), 88, of Waterloo, died Jan. 18, 2013, in Waterloo.

She was born Nov. 14, 1924, in Maeystown, daughter of the late George and Emma Hirsch (nee Wild).

She was married to the late Vernon O. Ruff.

Mrs. Ruff was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Waterloo, and many other organizations.

She is survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister LaVerne Wienhoff and her adopted brother Norman Hirsch.

Visitation is Thursday, Jan. 24, from 4 to 6 p.m., at Quernheim Funeral Home, Waterloo.

A memorial service will be Jan. 24, at 6 p.m., at the funeral home, Pastor Geraldine Proctor officiating.
