The Republic-Times Athlete of the Week is Maryville University softball player Lexi Touchette of Columbia. The freshman infielder hit .333 in 15 games this spring for the Saints (10-8), including six doubles and six RBIs. Touchette hit .468 last spring as a senior for the Eagles and finished with a total of 184 career hits, 23 home runs and 148 RBIs in four seasons at CHS.
