Leroy A. Mees Jr., 66, of Waterloo, died June 21, 2014 in St. Louis.

He was born Sept. 9, 1947 in Belleville, son of the late Leroy A. and Mildred S. Mees Sr., nee Lindhorst.

He was a supervisor for Ace Grease in Millstadt.

Mr. Mees is survived by children Mandy (Aaron) Shinn, Charles (Charlene) Mees and Elizabeth Mees; grandchildren Zachary, Charles Jr. and Charlotte Mees, Kingsly Shinn, and Gabbie and Abigail Mees; sister Mildred Lee (Robert) Menke; three nieces, one nephew, three great-nieces and two great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. June 27 and 8 to 10 a.m. June 28 at Quernheim Funeral Home in Waterloo.

Funeral services will take place at 10 a.m. June 28 at the funeral home.

Interment will follow at Kolmer Memorial Cemetery in Waterloo.

Memorials may be made to a fund for Kingsly Shinn.
