Leon L. Biffar, 53, of Waterloo, died June 4, 2014 in Belleville.

He was born Feb. 3, 1961 in Red Bud, son of Sylvester C. and Leona C. (nee Weber) Biffar.

Mr. Biffar was a member of Ss. Peter & Paul Church in Waterloo.

He is survived by wife Lisa F. Biffar, nee Andres; children Nicole (Paul) Deaton, Kelly (David) Chomhirun, Magdalen Biffar; grandson Jakob Deaton; parents Sylvester C. and Leona C. (nee Weber) Biffar; sisters and brothers Jane (Dennis) Asselmeier, Judy (Richard) Heck, Alan (Rita) Biffar, John (Anne) Biffar and Rita Polka; along with aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and godchildren.

He was preceded in death by brother Joseph Biffar.

Visitation took place June 8-9 at Quernheim Funeral Home, Waterloo.

The funeral took place June 9 at Ss. Peter & Paul Church in Waterloo.

Interment followed at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Madonnaville.
