Mr. and Mrs. Brian and Patty Lenhardt of Waterloo announce the engagement of their daughter Jessica Lenhardt to Alan Baum, son of Craig and Denise Baum.

The bride-elect is a 2007 graduate of Waterloo High School, and a 2010 graduate of Western Illinois University with a bachelor’s degree in communication. She is employed as a compliance specialist.

The prospective bridegroom is a 2005 graduate of Valmeyer High School, and a 2009 graduate of University of Illinois with a bachelor’s degree in economics. He is employed as a web services manager.

The couple are planning a Nov. 16, 2013, wedding at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Waterloo.
