Gibault senior volleyball standout Lauren Goldschmidt is this week’s Republic-Times Athlete of the Week. Goldschmidt, pictured at center during Thursday’s regional final loss against Trico in Red Bud, led the Hawks with 334 kills, 323 digs and a serve percentage of 94.67 this season. Gibault finished with a 25-12 record.
