Kenneth J. Krebel, 80, of Waterloo, died Aug. 23, 2024, in St. Louis. He was born Aug. 14, 1944, in Fults.

He was a member of Waterloo VFW Post 6504.

He is survived by his wife Linda Krebel (nee Meyer); children Michelle (Greg) Graff and Jennifer Jones (Jack Gillespie); grandchildren Arthur Jones, Everett Graff and Hope Gillespie; sister-in-law Ursula Krebel; nieces; nephews; and cousins.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents Roy J. and Loretta A. (nee Faust) Krebel; stepmother Ardell L. Krebel (nee Dieckmann); sisters Doris K. (Louis) Kohler and Diane Krebel; brothers Vernon J., Orvel, and Darryl J. (Joyce) Krebel.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Aug. 29 and 8-9:30 a.m. Aug. 30 at Quernheim Funeral Home in Waterloo.

A funeral service will follow visitation Aug. 30 at  the funeral home with Chaplain Mike Goodsell officiating.

Interment will immediately follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis.
