Mary Kennedy of Waterloo and Jeff McDaniel of Festus, Mo., have announced their engagement and upcoming marriage.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Paul and Rosalie Kennedy of Waterloo. She is a 1981 graduate of Gibault Catholic High School; earned her dental assistant certification from Bryan Institute, Webster Groves, Mo.; and earned an associate’s degree in dental lab technology in 1987 from Meramec College, St. Louis. She is employed as a certified dental assistant for Dr. Thomas Kemlage Family Dentistry.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mike and Charlotte McDaniel of Festus, Mo. He is a graduate of Crystal City High School and he completed a sheet metal workers apprenticeship in Crystal City, Mo. He is employed as a sheet metal worker.

The couple are planning a Sept. 28, 2013, wedding at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Prairie du Rocher.


Tammy Taylor

Tammy is an award-winning Graphic Artist for the Republic-Times. She has worked at the newspaper for almost 15 years, while her and her husband Norman, of 34 years, are owners of Sunderman's Garage in Columbia. She enjoys photography and her five grandchildren.
