Kimmy Taake of K.A.T. Jewelry Boutique & Gifts has made it her mission to find customers the perfect piece of jewelry at a fraction of the regular cost.

She started in fine jewelry in 1999 and now has a store open at 115 W. Gundlach St. in Columbia. The boutique offers a line of women’s clothing, boots, shoes, handbags and gifts along with the jewelry.

Taake’s store offers a party room where women can invite friends to come shop after-hours, and the hostess earns free items from the store.

She can also help with engagement rings, upgrades to wedding rings and anniversary rings.
