Fall is here! With a change in season comes a change in taste. From homemade chili to caramel apples, restaurants everywhere are bringing out their sweater-ready menus. But with the height of football quickly approaching, a pumpkin muffin won’t be the only item you’ll find with spice.

At JV’s Bar and Grill, fried chicken wings go great with any game or an appetizer for family night. Every wing is slow smoked and deep fried, then tossed in either sweet chili or spicy buffalo sauce. I’ve personally tried both and each offers a punch of flavor. The spicy buffalo is a Franks Red Hot Sauce that will make you sweat before it reaches your mouth, but the combination of juicy meat and ranch provided for dipping tames the heat for a sensational bite. Still not a spicy fan? No problem. The sweet chili wings have less of the heat but equal the flavor. Produced and bottled in Dixon, Ill., this sauce is sprinkled with chili flakes and fresh seasoning, giving the wings a tangy coating, with just enough sweetness to make you want more.

So grab a friend and head to JV’s for great football food. Make sure to check your napkin supply, because these wings are too good for forks.
