Judith V. Tomlinson, nee Schatte, 81, of Columbia, died July 30, 2024, in Belleville. She was born May 19, 1943.

Judith was a member of Blue Liners, St. Louis Jazz Club, she was a world traveler (she loved traveling, her favorite destination was Antarctica) and she was a member of the Waterloo Library Board for 40-plus years.

She is preceded in death by her parents Halbert and Frieda (nee Offermann) Schatte.

Memorial visitation is from 9-10 a.m. Aug. 17 at St. John United Church of Christ, Maeystown.

A memorial service takes place 10 a.m. Aug. 17 at the church. Arrangements are with Quernheim Funeral Home.

As an expression of sympathy, the family prefers memorial contributions to St. John UCC, Maeystown.
