Joyce L. Calder (nee Behnken), 88, of New Athens, died July 29, 2024. She was born March 26, 1936, to the late John A. and ORa Behnken.

Joyce was an insurance and real estate agent for 40 years.

She is survived by her husband William J Calder; children Darrel (Elaine) Siedle, Marijane (Dale) Darnell, Clay ( Robin) Siedle and Charlie (Debbie) Siedle; brothers Joe (Jane) Behnken and Jake (June) Behnken; eight grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son Chris Siedle and sisters Jane Behnken (Lemon) and Judith in infancy.

Interment will be in New Athens.
