Joseph C. Keeling

Joseph C. Keeling, 56, of Waterloo, died Nov. 28, 2013, in Waterloo.

He was born Aug. 22, 1957, in East St. Louis, son of the late Jackie D. and Aurelia M. Keeling (nee Janosky).

He was married to Brenda Keeling (nee Wetzler); she survives him.

Mr. Keeling was a member of Ironworkers Local #392 for 38 years, Hecker Sportsmans Club, and D&B Fishing Club.

Survivors include his wife; sons Michael J. (Crystal) Keeling, and Eric W. Keeling; grandchildren Charlotte Keeling and Evelyn Keeling; brothers and sisters James H. Keeling, David P. Keeling, Georgia J. Andrews, and John D. Keeling; and mother-in-law Darlene Wetzler; along with sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation was Dec. 1-2, at Quernheim Funeral Home, Waterloo.

A funeral Mass was celebrated Dec. 2, at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Waterloo, Father Osang Idagbo officiating.

Interment followed at Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Waterloo.

Memorials may be made to the family.
