The Republic-Times Athlete of the Week is Gibault Catholic High School baseball player Jordan McFarland.

In the past five games, he went 7-for-15 with three home runs, 10 RBIs and four stolen bases. McFarland is currently ranked among tops in the area with six homers, 31 RBIs and a .933 slugging percentage to go along with his .430 average.

He plays third base and outfield for the Hawks.
