Joan Donjon

Joan   Donjon (nee Stone), 82, of Waterloo, died May 27, 2016, in St. Louis.

She was born Dec. 25, 1933, in Grand Tower.

Joan was a member of Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, operated a Shelter Insurance Agency in Waterloo for many years, and was a retired beautician and H&R Block tax preparer.

She is survived by her children Richard (Cathy) Donjon, Daryl (Sandy) Donjon, Michael (Cheryl) Donjon, Susan (Wayne) Schweigert, Cheryl (Alan) Linnemann, Daniel (Carma) Donjon, and Karen (Michael) Naumann; grandchildren Chris (Angie) Donjon, Scott Donjon, Keith (Mary) Donjon, Kevin (Megan) Donjon, Heather (fiancè Eric) Donjon, Brett (Stephanie) Donjon, Allison Donjon, Kerry (Steve) Berger, Katie (Cory) Schilly, Stephanie (Tylor) Orme, Andrew Donjon, Michelle Donjon, Bryan Linnemann, Laura (Steve) Kaesser, Matt Linnemann, Jessica (Cliff) Bell, Tia Donjon, Samantha (fiancè Josh) Naumann, Abby Naumann and Ellie Naumann; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents Paul and Cora stone (nee Gulley) and husband Kenneth S. Donjon.

Visitation is May 31, from 4 to 8 p.m., and June 1, from 8 to 9 a.m., at Quernheim Funeral Home, Waterloo.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated June 1, at 10 a.m., at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Waterloo, Father Osang Idagbo C.M. officiating.

Interment will follow at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery, Waterloo.

As an expression of sympathy the family prefers memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or Alzheimer’s Association.
