Janet Kay Davis
Janet Kay Davis, 56, of Columbia, died May 27, 2015, in Columbia.

She was born Aug. 1, 1958, in Louisiana, Mo., daughter of Robert and Shirley Davis (nee Pepper) of Elsberry, Mo.

Janet was employed by the UniGroup of Fenton, Mo. She attended Concord Trinity United Methodist Church in St. Louis and Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Columbia.

She was a P.E.O. sister. She graduated from Elsberry Missouri High School and went on to earn her undergraduate work and MBA at the University of Missouri.

Surviving are her husband, Mike Spradling; her step children, Sarah Spradling of St. Louis, Josh Spradling, Vince Spradling, and Justin Spradling, all of Columbia; her parents; a brother, Bryan Davis of Oklahoma; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ray and Alberta Spradling (nee Granzow) of Smithton; a brother-in-law, David (Diane) Spradling of Indiana; and two sisters-in-law, Cynthia Gradl of South St. Louis County and Laura (Allen) Maus of Waterloo. She was also a dear aunt, niece, cousin, and friend.

Friends may call May 29, from 4 to 8 p.m.,  at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia.

Funeral services will be held May 30, at 10 a.m., at the funeral home with Father Carl Scherrer officiating.

Interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Columbia.

Memorials may be made to the Child Fund International.
