James C. Hendricks Sr., 68, of Columbia, died Nov. 24, 2014 in Columbia.

He was born Dec. 2, 1945 in East St. Louis.

He was a avid Walking Dead fan and watched every week with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Bernette Hendricks, nee Gambrel; and a brother, Norman Bequette.

Surviving are his wife, Judy Hendricks, nee Rutledge; son Jimmy Hendricks of Columbia; two daughters, Kim Frisch of Columbia and Stephanie Frisch of Red Bud; sister Patricia Willis; eight grandchildren, Dominic, Austin, Zachary, Amanda, Wyndi, Cameron, Chandler and Baylee; and his beloved pets, Zoey and Lizzy.  He was a dear uncle, cousin and friend.

A private service took place at Braun Family Funeral Home in Columbia.
