The Republic-Times Athlete of the Week is Waterloo High School wrestler Jackson Deutch. The junior team captain is 31-7 on the season and recently placed first in the 175-pound weight division at the St. Charles Tournament, helping the Bulldogs place second as a team. Earlier in the season, he placed third at the Mascoutah Tournament.
