The Missouri Department of Transportation said it will close two of three lanes on eastbound I-255 on the Jefferson Barracks Bridge this weekend as crews perform preventative maintenance. The work will be conducted weather permitting, MoDOT said.

Crews will close two eastbound lanes at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22, for the work.  That will leave only one lane of eastbound I-255 open to traffic.

MoDOT said drivers can use the Poplar Street Bridge as a detour around these lane closures.

All lanes on the J.B. Bridge will reopen by 6 a.m. Monday, Nov. 25.
