Hilda Louisa Horn
Hilda Louisa Horn (nee Keim), 94, of Waterloo, died May 13, 2015, in Waterloo.
She was born March 11, 1921, in St. Clair Co., daughter of the late Louis C. and Ida Keim (nee Just).
She was married to the late Albert H. Horn Sr.
Hilda was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, former member of Immanuel Ladies Aid, and former owner of H&H Live Bait. She enjoyed playing rummy, bingo, gardening, fishing and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children Leroy (Wanda) Horn, Edward (Marcine) Horn, and Karen (James) Bouquet; 18 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren; and sisters-in-law Esther (Vernon) Brandt & Lorine Horn; along with nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughters Dorothy Horn and Kathleen Sellers, son Albert O. Horn Jr., granddaughters Cheryl Horn and Karen Sellers, sisters Adelia John, Luella Roseman and Clara Wagner, and brothers Elmer Keim, and Clarence Keim Sr.
Visitation will be Sunday, May 17, from 3 to 8 p.m., at Quernheim Funeral Home; and Monday, May 18, from 9 to 10 a.m., at Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Funeral services will be May 18, at 10 a.m., at the church, Pastor Tony Troup officiating.
Interment will follow at Kolmer Memorial Cemetery, Waterloo.
As an expression of sympathy, memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church, Oak Hill Activity Fund, or Hospice of Southern Illinois.
