Hazardous materials incident north of Columbia

Columbia Fire Department personnel assisted Columbia EMS in responding about 11:30 a.m. Monday to a possible hazardous materials situation in the 7100 block of Reichert Road in rural St. Clair County.

Initial reports are that the incident involved spilled refrigerant inside a residence with an HVAC repair person possibly injured.
