The Prairie du Rocher and Red Bud fire departments responded about 9:45 a.m. Sunday to hay bales on fire in a shed reported at 3747 Common School Road near Ruma.

Firefighters responded quickly to the blaze and were able to successfully knock down the flames within a short amount of time.
