Hattie D. Keller (nee Frank), 94, of Waterloo, died Jan. 9, 2024, in Waterloo. She was born Sept. 7, 1929, in Alhambra.
She was a member of Ss. Peter & Paul Church – Waterloo; SPPS Quilters; VFW Auxiliary; Waterloo Country Club; enjoyed gardening; dancing; walking; and her grandchildren’s activities.
She is survived by her children Gayle Keller, Karla (Terry) Pflueger, Barry (Amy) Keller and Larry (Denise Solomon) Keller; grandchildren Kristin (Bart) Harris, Justin (Jess) Keller, Casey Keller, Matthew (friend Amber Kalert) Pflueger, Katie (Greg) Niedbalski, Amy Keller, Andrew (Jen) Keller, Kayla (Daniel) Dombrowski, Ryan (Maggie) Keller, Jeremy (Rosa) Keller and Zachary (Mariel Cotton) Keller; great-grandchildren Mason Niedbalski, Deegan Smithson, Jordyn Keller, Mairin Dombrowski, Hattie Ray Harris, Kora Leigh Harris and Kodi Grace Keller; step-great-grandchildren; sister Agnes Keller; brothers Lawrence (Pat) Frank and Leonard Frank; sister-in-law Joan Frank; nieces; nephews; and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her husband Robert D. Keller; parents Clemens U. and Alma M. (nee Ohren) Frank; sisters and brothers Marie (Alfred) Suess, LaVerne Moss, Sis (Les) Rinderer, Alvin (Lucille) Frank, Clara (Len) Heim, Norbert (Edna) Frank, Wilma (Jim) Welchlen, Dorothy (Cliff) Landolt, Clem (Mary) Frank, Elmer Frank, and Duane Frank; brother-in-law Roland Keller; and sister-in-law Audrey Frank.
Visitation is 3-7 p.m. Jan. 14 at Quernheim Funeral Home in Waterloo and 9 a.m. until time of Mass Jan. 15 at Ss. Peter & Paul Church in Waterloo.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Jan. 15 at the church with Father Linus Umoren C.M. officiating.
Interment will be at Ss. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Waterloo.
As an expression of sympathy the family prefers memorial contributions to: Ss. Peter & Paul Church; Ss. Peter & Paul Grade School; Gibault High School; or Hospice of Southern Illinois.
