Harry Mardirosian Jr.

Harry Mardirosian Jr., 77, of Columbia, died July 16, 2018, at St. Anthony’s Medical Center, St. Louis.

He was born Aug. 22, 1940, in East St. Louis, son of the late Harry and Amelia Mardirosian (nee Homann).

Mr. Mardirosian was a U.S. Army veteran. He was the owner and operator of Marty’s Home builders in Columbia. He was a member of Hope Christian Church, Columbia. He was a devoted husband, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Surviving are his loving wife of 59 years, Norma Mardirosian (nee Smith); children, Rob (Pam) Mardirosian of Columbia, Bart (Michelle) Mardirosian of Brook, Ind., and Cress (Kenny) Morr of Columbia; grandchildren Shae (Jason) Dix, Kayla (Robert) Beardsley, Whitney (Robbie) Starr, Nicole (Kipp) Brocaille, Aaron Mardirosian, Casey (Jordan) Lane, Bradley (Whitney) Morr, Brett Morr, Trey Morr and Lauren Mardirosian; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was a dear uncle, cousin and friend to many.

He was preceded in death by his son Jeremy Mardirosian, his parents, sisters Amelia “Doodle” Hughes and MaryAnn Smith; and brothers Charles Mardirosian and Dennis Mardirosian.

Visitation is 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. July 19, at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia.

Funeral services will be at 12:30 p.m. July 19, at the funeral home, Reverend Ron Chase officiating.

Interment will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis.
